Several New Photos Added – More To Come As I Dig Them Up!

[UPDATE #6] August 01, 2015

Just a heads up about the sound quality of all the live videos on Youtube.  I’ve watched hundreds of crowd captured videos on the tube and as might be expected the sound quality is crap in every one of them as the live mix in the stadiums are extremely poor, disjointed, and over echoed (Both Stadiums Poor Acoustics, Get In The Way Of Enjoyment IMHO).  Sometimes you cannot hear the vocals, guitars, bass is overpowering (Muddy and Congested) …and you can hear every mistake the band makes…so bad in fact that fan videos are almost not worth watching unless that’s all you have access to (No Matter How High The Resolution).

Since then I’ve listened to the Torr’s of all five live shows from the Live and On Demand Webstreams…the sound and mixes of the video captures at 256kbps(Audio) and 720p(HD Video) are absolutely STELLAR and balanced as also would be expected.  So until we can get hold of the box set (Which is reportedly only going to have the 3 Chicago Shows in 1080p) available now in limited edition pre-order/ To be released in November…these Torr’s will have to hold us over till then.

I cannot post a link but just search in the Goog…” Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well Kick Ass ” without the quotes and you can access the Shows. The top 2 results are those.  In Total all five shows come to about 30 GB’s (Each contains 4-5 Hours as they were broadcast on the web and P4y P3r Vew)…The first two shows in SC Come Together as one file, and the three Chi-Town Shows come as single separate files (One Per Night).  They are amazing quality…no drop outs that I’ve found so far and worth your time if you should choose to access.  Heads, Keep On Truckin’ On!!!

Peace and enjoy!
